SUMMARY OF POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
BARBACK - Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness
of the bar area. Will retrieve ice, change kegs and maintain supplies
as needed.
BARTENDER – Provides customer with courteous
and quick service. Mixes and serves alcoholic beverages and maintains
liquor control. Also responsible for cash handling procedures. Must
adhere to Sportservice Alcohol Awareness Policy by serving alcoholic
beverages responsibly.
BUSSER- Works in Bar/Restaurant environment. Supports
service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
CASHIER (FOOD/RETAIL)– Ensures an accurate
accounting of all transactions. Responsible for cash handling procedures.
Must adhere to Sportservice Alcohol Awareness Policy by serving
alcoholic beverages responsibly.
CASH ROOM CLERK – Assures that all company
funds are properly accounted for on a daily basis. May also perform
administrative support related to cashiers and/or cash control.
COOK- Works in BOH restaurant or production kitchen.
Responsible for food prep, some station cooking. High volume repetitive.
DISHWASHER- Works in BOH environment. May not
have any public interaction. Washes dishes, silverware, pots &
pans, basic cleaning (sweep/mop/trash).
FOOD PREPARER – Ensures that certain food
items are prepped in a standard fashion, to guarantee that customers
receive quality products.
HOST/HOSTESS- Works in restaurant w/assigned seating.
Can take food/drink orders, run food. Does some clearing/cleaning
of tables/restaurant.
IN-SEAT RUNNER – Responsible for accurate
and timely delivery of food and beverage orders to in-seat guest
in a timely manner.
IN-SEAT SERVER – Responsible for providing
in-seat food service to patrons in a courteous, friendly and efficient
manner utilizing a hand held POS system to place food and beverage
orders. Also responsible for cash handling procedures and must adhere
to Sportservice Alcohol Awareness Policy by serving alcoholic beverages
responsibly.
LAUNDRY ATTENDANT - Responsible for laundering
uniforms and delivering to the uniform area.
LIQUOR ROOM ATTENDANT – Prepares and delivers
beverage orders from the Liquor Room in accordance with company
policy and procedures
PORTER – Assists in delivering product orders
to the concession stands, or other designated areas. Maintain adequate
inventory levels.
PREP/GRILL COOK – Responsible for the preparation
of food in various locations.
RUNNER – Assembles and delivers food/beverage
orders quickly. Ensures guest satisfaction.
SERVER – Responsible for the distribution
of food/beverage items to customers. May be responsible for cash
handling procedures. . Must adhere to Sportservice Alcohol Awareness
Policy by serving alcoholic beverages responsibly.
STAND ATTENDANT – Responsible for providing
a quality product to patrons in a courteous, friendly and efficient
manner. Also responsible for cash handling procedures. Must adhere
to Sportservice Alcohol Awareness Policy by serving alcoholic beverages
responsibly.
STAND LEADER – Under direction of Concessions
Manager, is responsible for operation of entire concession stand.
Must adhere to Sportservice Alcohol Awareness Policy by serving
alcoholic beverages responsibly.
SUPERVISOR – Focuses on the supervision
of daily operations of specific department. Helps develop strategies
for customer service and sales techniques.
VENDING CASHIER – Responsible for cashing
out all vendors. Responsible for cash handling procedures.
VENDING COMM WORKER – Responsible for providing
product to the vendors.
VENDOR – Responsible for selling food, beverage
and retail items in seating areas during events.
